You can operate the system directly by using the control box or using an external remote, so you can mount the control unit anywhere. The operation of the system id cleverly engineered and encredibly easy. Just turn it on and it searches the satellite most recently tuned in. It's satellite search is digital, allowing every satellite receiver to receive TV programs, because the search is independant of the receiver being used.
